This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are handled for Consistency AI ("we," "our," or "us"). We believe in transparency with our users and want to provide clear information about the financial terms of using our Service.


1. Current Pricing Status

Consistency AI is currently offered entirely free of charge.

All features, functionalities, and content within the application are available to every user at no cost. There are no subscription fees, one-time purchases, in-app purchases, or hidden charges of any kind associated with using the Service at this time.

Since no payments are collected, no refunds are applicable under the current pricing model. You may use, enjoy, and benefit from the full Service without any financial commitment.


2. Future Paid Features

We may introduce premium features, subscription tiers, or other paid offerings in the future to sustain and enhance the Service. In the event that paid plans are introduced:

  • Advance Notice: Users will be notified well in advance of any new paid features or changes to the pricing structure through in-app notifications and/or email communication.
  • Updated Refund Terms: A comprehensive refund policy specific to paid features will be published and made available to users before any charges are applied.
  • Voluntary Opt-In: Any transition to a paid plan will be entirely voluntary. No user will be automatically enrolled in or charged for any premium tier without their explicit, affirmative consent.
  • Existing Features: We are committed to maintaining a meaningful free tier. Introduction of premium features will not retroactively remove access to features you currently use for free, unless operationally necessary and communicated transparently.

3. Digital Product Refund Principles

When paid features are introduced, the following general principles will govern our refund practices:

3.1 Subscription-Based Services

  • Refund eligibility will depend on the timing of the cancellation request relative to the billing cycle.
  • Users will be able to cancel their subscription at any time, with access continuing through the end of the current billing period.
  • Partial-period refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for documented technical issues that prevented use of paid features.

3.2 One-Time Purchases

  • Due to the nature of digital goods, one-time purchases are generally non-refundable once the digital content has been accessed or delivered.
  • Exceptions will be made for duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, or significant technical defects that render the purchased content unusable.

3.3 Platform-Specific Refunds

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to the respective platform's refund policies:

  • Apple App Store: Refund requests for purchases made through the App Store must be submitted to Apple directly through their Report a Problem portal. Apple independently reviews and processes all refund requests for App Store transactions.
  • Google Play Store: Refund requests for purchases made through the Play Store must be submitted to Google through the Google Play order history. Google's refund policy applies to all Play Store transactions.

We do not have the ability to process refunds for transactions handled by Apple or Google, as they serve as the merchant of record for those purchases.


4. Unauthorized Charges

If you believe you have been charged for any Consistency AI service or feature that you did not authorize, please contact us immediately at support@consistencyai.app. We take unauthorized charges seriously and will investigate all such reports promptly.

If an unauthorized charge is confirmed, we will work with you and the relevant payment platform to ensure a full refund is processed without delay.


5. Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels, including in-app notifications and updates to this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our refund practices, particularly if and when paid features are introduced.
